Outdoor Reading Camp

Join us for our literacy groups! These groups utilize a multi-sensory approach to reading development in a fun, creative way.

K-2 Groups: Students run through individual stations targeting phonological awareness, red/heart/sight words, segmenting, blending, writing and executive functioning consistent with OG's K-2 scope and sequence. ​

3-4 Groups: Students will complete individual stations and group activities targeting prefixes, affixes, suffixes, executive functioning (error detection, error correction, self-monitoring) and reading comprehension strategies.

5th Grade Group: Sessions start with executive functioning activities, specifially planning/organizing our week to support independence with studying and completing homework. Then, student will participate in individual stations and group activities targeting reading comprehension and narrative writing.
